A whole lot more than it does on social media, to judge by their accomplishments. Among themany deserving researchers in the Bar-Ilan community, four were selected in a faculty-wide vote for particular impact this past year. 1st PLACE Prof. Cyrille Cohen, vice dean of the Mina and Everard Goodman Faculty of Life Sciences, for separating fact from fiction when it comes to COVID vaccines Israel’s decision last summer to administer a third COVID-19 vaccine may have set a global precedent, but it wasn’t without its concerns and critiques. Fortunately, Prof. Cyrille Cohen— the unofficial COVID-19 spokesman of the Jewish state— came ready with facts to ease unfounded fears.
