In addition to The Russel Berrie Foundation’s lead gift of $20million to the Russell Berrie GalileeDiabetes SPHERE, nearly $3.5million was pledged to themedical school this year. We are currently in the midst of an emergency campaign to provide Ukrainian college students who have fled their war-torn country the financial and other support required to resume their studies at Bar-Ilan. Although students were able to return to campus this year, many still feel the impact of the last two years’ COVID-19 pandemic. To ease their financial burden and ensure that they can remain at the University, we secured $3.2 million in pledges for student scholarships.
